This article beautifully details the “Ascension of DFW” as the nation’s fourth largest urban economy (up from #42 in 1920). DFW is much more than the base of the colossal Cowboys stadium and the nation’s largest State Fair…it is home to more corporate headquarters than any other US metropolitan area, and is becoming increasingly more global as these companies venture abroad.
